Treasury won't aid Cat Fund (The Sarasota Herald-Tribune)
Do not look for the federal government to bail out Florida's over-leveraged insurance fund. An aide to Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson confirmed that U.S. Treasury officials have said they will not issue a line of credit for the Hurricane Catastrophe Fund, the financial backstop for insurance companies in case of a major storm.
