Hurricane season is forecast to be near average (The Gainesville Sun)
With the start of hurricane season less than two weeks away, this is what passes as good news: Forecasters are anticipating as many as 14 named storms and as many as seven hurricanes.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on Thursday released its forecast for the hurricane season running from June 1 to Nov. 30.

May 22 (Bloomberg) -- Orange-juice rose for the first time this week as the weaker dollar boosted the appeal of commodities as inflation hedges and on the outlook for the Atlantic Ocean hurricane season. Coffee fell from a seven-month high.
