Florida preps for hurricane season with conference's start on Sunday (Sun-Sentinel)
The Florida Governor's Hurricane Conference returns to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, allowing about 2,000 forecasters, government officials, emergency managers and first responders to gear up for the storm season.
